Toronto’s an amazing city, heaving with activity and culture but it can be tough to get around with all the traffic. We’re recommending that you use either Uber or Lyft to get from Pearson International Airport to Tyndale University once you land in Toronto. The average cost of an Uber is between $36 and $44 and with Lyft it’s $40 to $45. Taxis are an option too but will likely run you in the $60 range.
A more economical way (but longer!) is public transit. You can shuttle to Union Station on the UP Express and then take the TTC subway north to Finch Station and then a #42 bus east to Bayview and Cummer. From there you’d have a five minute walk to Tyndale. You’d be looking at about 90 minutes with two transfers and a cost of $17 all in.
An alternate public transit way would be to pick up the GO Transit shuttle #40 from Terminal One (runs about every half hour during the day) to Richmond Hill Centre where you’d transfer to the VIVA Blue south and take it to Finch Station and then a #42 bus east to Bayview and Cummer. From there you’d have a five minute walk to Tyndale. Once there, you’d walk about 10 minutes to Tyndale. Total cost: around $16.”
